Félicité — Six Senses Zil Pasyon
Our honest verdict
Six Senses Zil Pasyon is the property we put on nearly every honeymoon and wellness retreat itinerary. It combines exceptional design — the villas are carved into the granite hillside, each with a private pool and an uninterrupted view of the sister islands — with a wellness programme that is genuinely substantive rather than decorative. The Six Senses brand operates this property as one of its global flagship wellness destinations. The location earns that designation.
The architecture is the first thing guests remark on, and it deserves the attention. The thirty villas are positioned within the granite formations of Félicité's hillside — built around the boulders, not despite them. The effect is of structures that have grown from the rock rather than been placed on top of it. Each villa has a private infinity pool that looks across the channel to La Digue and Praslin. On clear mornings, you can see the outline of Mahé. The views are one of the most consistently mentioned features in every guest account we have received.
The wellness programme is comprehensive in a way that most resort wellness programmes are not. Six Senses Zil Pasyon has a biohacking suite with equipment for metabolic analysis and recovery monitoring, a dedicated sleep consultation practice, an Alchemy Bar where guests produce their own supplement blends, and an Ayurvedic treatment menu delivered by practitioners trained in Kerala. The yoga platform — a granite rock with a view of the channel — is the finest yoga location we know of in the Seychelles.
The house reef is the island's marine centrepiece. The dive team has a photographic database of every hawksbill turtle that feeds here regularly — individual identification by facial scute pattern — and can brief guests on exactly which individuals to expect on a given day depending on the tide and season. The coral restoration nursery in the lagoon contains over 600 fragments at various stages of development. Guests can participate in a guided planting session that takes ninety minutes and requires no prior diving experience.
The terrain is hilly and the paths between villas and beach are steep in places. Not well suited to guests with significant mobility limitations. Also not our first recommendation for very large groups — the property is intimate by design and the experience is best for couples, pairs of couples, or small families.

Signature experiences here
Sunrise yoga on the granite
A platform set into a natural granite rock face above the resort, facing east. The instructor brings the mat, the light does the rest. One of the most consistently praised experiences at the property.
Guided house reef snorkel
The dive team brief includes identification of the specific hawksbill turtles currently feeding on the reef. You will know their names before you enter the water.
Coral planting session
Ninety minutes in the lagoon with a marine biologist, selecting and placing coral fragments from the restoration nursery. No diving certification required.
Six Senses wellness consultation
A one-hour intake session with the senior wellness practitioner. The programme designed for your stay is specific to your goals, your sleep data, and your movement patterns.
Hillside trail to the viewpoint
Forty minutes each way through native forest. At the summit, the full geography of the inner islands is visible. We recommend the first morning, before the heat builds.
Day excursion to La Digue
Twenty minutes by boat. Bicycles meet you at the jetty. Anse Source d'Argent in the morning, lunch at a family restaurant in La Passe, return by 4pm. The most popular day excursion from the property.
Conservation & sourcing
Six Senses Zil Pasyon operates a coral restoration nursery in the house reef lagoon, maintaining over 600 coral fragments at various stages of development. The programme has been running since the resort opened in 2016 and is conducted in partnership with the Seychelles Centre for Ocean Knowledge. The island's native forest is being progressively restored through a replanting programme that works alongside the natural regeneration already underway since coconut monoculture was discontinued.
